About

Tim has been working with wood for over thirty years. His first official instruction in woodwork came out of a fourth grade shop class. Those shop classes continued through his high school years. Various jobs with carpenters along the way helped to teach him the world of building and remodeling.

After graduating from Hobart College with a BA degree in Environmental Studies, he completed nine years in the world of corporate America. Those years provided invaluable work experience as a wealth of business knowledge and significant on the job construction management experience was obtained.

Tim has a lifetime of shop and job site experience as well as post collegiate schooling in site work, home design and building techniques. His professionalism, attention to detail, dedication to his work, and willingness to adapt to
customers’ needs and desires makes Barnard Woodworks an easy choice when it comes to contractor selection.

When not busy at work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and black Lab. His hobbies include travel and
outdoor adventures such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and skiing.
